Search and Rescue is important following a disaster such as Tornado, Hurricane, Storms, Earthquake, or other emergency.
It may be hours or even days before emergency responders arrive. You may be called on to preform light search and rescue. It is important to have appropriate safety supplies such as flashlights, axes, first-aid supplies, safety glasses, gloves, dust masks, triage supplies and communications.
Being prepared and a well organized Incident Command is the key.
