Search and Rescue is important following a disaster such as Tornado, Hurricane, Storms, Earthquake, or other emergency in your home or at the workplace.
It may be hours or even days before emergency responders arrive. It may be up to you to preform light search and rescue. It is important to have on hand appropriate safety supplies such as flashlights, axes, first-aid supplies, safety glasses, gloves, dust masks, triage supplies and communications.
Being prepared NOT scared is the key. Having tools and other recources can make for a succesfull rescue of the trapped or injured.
